Please try the following. Open System Preferences.
Select Printers & Scanners.
Delete your printer from the list then add it again.
I suspect that when your router was reconfigured, it affected your printer's IP address (unique network identifier). Adding your printer again should give it a new active IP address.

I just read this on Epson's support page. I clicked on info for the printer driver.
Wireless Connect your product to your router wirelessly and make sure the product is turned on.
Note: You'll need to use the product's control panel to establish the connection to your router.
According to this, you connect the printer to your wireless network using the printer's control panel.
Once you have this, the new IP address should be displayed. Probably 192.168.x.x
On your Mac, add your printer to the network using the IP address.

Oct 16, 2015 1:14 PM in response to howardunsby pattihach,Thanks, Howard,
I did all of that and when I go to print a page it tells me that the printer is not responding..... I'm at a loss especially since I don't seem to be having a problem printing from my Kindle.....
I appreciate the time and effort you are putting into this.

Oct 16, 2015 3:23 PM in response to pattihachby howarduns,Patti, the Epson support web site suggested checking the App Store for software driver updates.
The other option would be to contact Epson.

Oct 16, 2015 3:54 PM in response to pattihachby BobTheFisherman,I'll repeat my original answer. Rejoin the printer to your network. Use the printer's manual to see how to do this. Do it from your printers control panel located on the printer. The reason you have to do this is that when your router was changed it likely changed the ip address of your network. Until you re add your printer to your new network it will not show up on your computer as an available printer. The computer is on the new network and the printer is on the old network.

Oct 17, 2015 9:13 AM in response to howardunsby pattihach,Thank you for all your help.... After 1 1/2 hours on the phone with Epson yesterday, the rep and I both decided that the printer was just too old and needed to be euthanized !!!!

Oct 17, 2015 9:15 AM in response to BobTheFishermanby pattihach,Thanks for all your help but as I told Howarduns, I spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone with an Epson tech and he and I decided that the printer was beyond saving so I will be in the market for a new one. I appreciate the time you spent, Thanks

Oct 17, 2015 3:46 PM in response to pattihachby howarduns,Patti, have you looked at the printer manual (as Bob suggested)? Your printer still works with you Kindle so it seems that your printer is functional. Epson has drivers for MacOS 10.11 and Windows 10 so this printer is still supported by Epson. The rep statement that it is too old is not valid.
Have you tried printing from your Mac using a USB cable?

Oct 17, 2015 3:51 PM in response to howardunsby howarduns,Patti, you may want to check out this information from the online Epson manual for your printer.
How do I manually assign a static IP address to my printer?
I cannot print over the network. What should I do?
