Sep 21, 2015 1:00 PM in response to KiltedTimby ken4,I have always had 3-4 phones on my ID and never an issue till the iOS 9 update last week so not sure what's causing this issue.

Sep 21, 2015 1:02 PM in response to ken4by KiltedTim,What's causing the issue is the fact that Apple is constantly enhancing iCloud services and the fact that Apple IDs were never intended to be shared.
Stop sharing IDs, at least for iCloud. Each person should have their own ID for iCloud.

Sep 21, 2015 1:06 PM in response to KiltedTimby ken4,Ok so do I create a new ID for each family member and set them up on family sharing. The only issue there is that they can't share previous stuff purchased like apps and music,am I right in saying that.

Sep 21, 2015 10:48 PM in response to ken4by Ingo2711,Did you already check this page?
Everything’s better when shared, and sharing has never been easier. Once you’ve set up Family Sharing, all the songs, albums, movies, TV shows, books, and apps ever purchased by family members are immediately available to everyone else in the group. And, of course, so are new purchases. The content appears automatically in the Purchased tab in iTunes, iBooks, or the App Store for each family member. Just select the family member whose collection you’d like to browse, then download or play the content you choose. Other family members can access your collection in the same way. If you want to keep some purchases private, you can choose to hide individual items.

Oct 17, 2015 7:13 AM in response to ken4by bareade1,I am having the same issue. Why does Apple do crap like this!!! I think it's about time to start looking at other products and devices!!!!
-
Oct 17, 2015 7:18 AM in response to bareade1by KiltedTim,Why do you insist on intentionally using it in a way that is contrary to Apple's recommendations?
What is so difficult to understand about the concept of each individual having their own Apple ID?

Oct 17, 2015 9:30 AM in response to KiltedTimby bareade1,Really!!! Why can't you do it either way??? It just makes it harder to stay with them.

Oct 17, 2015 9:34 AM in response to bareade1by gdgmacguy,Then leave. We fellow users here don't care what you do. If you find another phone vendor who's software and hardware best suits your needs, then by all means, switch!

Because that is NOT how it is designed to be used. You can drive your car on the wrong side of the road if you want to, but sooner or later, you WILL have a problem if you keep doing it.

Oct 17, 2015 5:10 PM in response to KiltedTimby bareade1,OK, your right I can drive my car on the wrong side, but if I can drive it the right way just as I have and never had any problems. Why should the car manufacturer create a car that you can only drive it a certain why?
-
Oct 17, 2015 6:33 PM in response to bareade1by KiltedTim,Because you have NOT been using it the "right way", that's why.
Do you have ANY idea how computers work? Apparently not. The documentation on how to use them (and an iPhone is nothing more than a very small computer with a cellular radio built in) is not just the manufacturers opinion of how it works.
If you don't want to follow simple instructions, fine, but don't come whining to us when it behaves in a way other than what you want it to.
