Q: iOS 9.02 bug?

Dear Apple consultant,

I just got my iPhone 6S on Friday night and I am currently using and after I used it for 3 days, I realized something is off especially after I have updated to version iOS 9.02 (previously I got my phone was iOS9.01). After using it these days, I felt the phone is kind of hang and today (Monday 19, October) I need to force restart it in order to access my phone again. The whole screen like not responsive and only the accessibility transparent icon is able moving around. Whatapps messages coming in but I can't touch anything because the screen is not responsive at all. Maybe can you help to check on this?

A:

Restart/reset and restore should not damage your iPhone. If it constantly hangs and restore does not help - take your device to the Apple Store for further diagnostics.

Try to reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on this device.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
Press and hold on the Home button
Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

If this does not help, restore your device to factory settings. Note that this will erase the data from your device.

Hi Thunderzzz,

Thanks for the information. I did that when my phone hangs and it solve the problem (thank god). But my concern is will this keep occurring? If doing constantly will damage the hardware of the phone and replacing the parts or repairing it will be costly.

Hi Thunderzzz,

So far after force restart my phone, it seems until today, there isn't any problem at the moment and even my LTE is back after re-selecting it. Thanks for your advice, cross my finger and hope no problem for the phone because I have an iPhone 4 and until today, it is still working perfectly.
