Unless you are using a 2013 MacBook Air, and are installing Windows from an optical (CD/DVD) drive. Then the optical drive (NOT the storage drive) must be plugged into the right side.
Its very specific.

Oct 19, 2015 11:47 AM in response to Phil0124by Kenneth Kaiserkk,Ahhh... Im just about to try install windows 7 again. Last time my keyboard and mouse didn't work when i came to the first page of installation. Now my usb is plugged in on the right side of my computer. I hope it will work now, just about to finish. I also tried to change administrator this time. Do you have any suggestions on what to do if the keyboard and mouse won't work again? or shall I just try again with the usb plugged in on the left side? I have a Macbook Pro late 2013
