Oct 16, 2015 9:00 AM in response to Cedric Frenetteby cagripa,This seemed to have worked. After getting a prompt from iTunes that my iCloud session has expired, I just cancelled the login and voila, I can now navigate again to iTunes.

Oct 19, 2015 5:47 PM in response to Cedric Frenetteby Tom P,I had a similar problem (iTunes videos would not load). Here's how I solved it.
1) Download the iTunes installer package from the iTunes download webpage
2) Deauthorize my computer in iTunes
3) Sign out of my account in iTunes
4) Exit iTunes
5) Double click on the iTunes installer package and let it install
6) Open iTunes and sign back in to my account
7) Authorize my computer

He sent them another note that the issue is still unsolved...
Will update as I have news

Ram Is not the problem I have 16gb. So I closed all apps, force quit iTunes, then opened up Disk Utility and performed a First Aid Run, then restarted my Mac, now It’s fine, well for now It Is

Oct 20, 2015 10:24 AM in response to cagripaby ccorry21,was having this issue where everything was unresponsive. followed cagripa's advice and hit cancel when it asked me to enter in my iCloud password...now everything works normally. weird :/

Oct 21, 2015 8:00 PM in response to Cedric Frenetteby HenryS,OS X 10.11.1 and iTunes 12.3.1 both released today. Latest iTunes update is supposed to solve this. Frankly, I've never had it, but you might want to take note of the updates if you have it.

Oct 21, 2015 8:46 PM in response to terrip.t1by Russell Madden,In another thread, iTunes 12.2.1.23 is causing problems of music/video starting or doing other actions then a spinning ball for quite awhile even for someone who has not updated to El Capitan. That implies that iTunes is the problem, not OS 10.11.1

Oct 21, 2015 9:03 PM in response to Russell Maddenby Maestro1827,I did not have this issue with iTunes after updating to El Capitan (although I did have a major issue with Mail search). After updating to iTunes version 12.3.1 (newest version) my iTunes now runs very slowly and freezes up.
