Oct 21, 2015 9:28 AM in response to léonieby blair124,I am open to creating the book with any product really. Was hoping there was some app either on the phone or Mac that could do this easily.

Oct 21, 2015 9:38 AM in response to blair124by léonie,Both iPhoto an Photos on the Mac can create beautiful books, but neither of them can extract the comments from a Photo Stream and write them to the text fields in the books. There is not even an easy way to copy the comments from the shared albums to the captions or titles of the photos. So I don't know how to pass easily them to a third party app to create the book.

Oct 21, 2015 10:40 AM in response to Old Toadby léonie,But how to extract the Photo Stream comments and include them in the book, other than copy and pasting them manually? I have not seen any tool to access them, neither in iPhoto, nor Aperture, nor Photos. When I want to save the photo stream comments, I have to copy and paste them individually, a lot of work.

Jun 20, 2016 9:45 PM in response to Old Toadby léonie,Right, OT. The big question in this case is how to easily copy the comments from a shared album to a photo book.
Apple's renaming "Shared Photo Streams" to "Shared Albums" is confusing the terminology. First of all, shared albums do not have the properties of albums, because we cannot sort them, but people expect them to have properties like albums, and it is hard to refer to them across system versions. When this thread started the Shared albums were still shared Photo Streams.
