Oct 6, 2015 7:20 AM in response to zcolbsterby Mike32768,I am finding a similar problem. After the MBP goes to sleep for more than an hour when I wake it I am finding it has rebooted. I am not seeing any error messages.
It went to sleep last night and when I tried to wake it this morning it didn't. I had to use the power button and had a "Sleep Wake Failure" error message that the system had to reboot.
El Capitan seem pretty buggy so far. Sleep/wake is a definite major issue in my book. I've had daily unscheduled reboots since upgrading.

Oct 8, 2015 1:24 PM in response to zcolbsterby dnlopes,Same problem here. Sleeping for a short period of time works fine, but if my mac sleeps for a longer period of time it freezes and I have to reboot using the power button.

Oct 18, 2015 5:51 AM in response to dominic23by cBaddist,Reseting SMC did not solve the issue for me. I am still waking from sleep with a Frozen trackpad and keyboard. I still receive all notifications at lock screen but can not login until I do a physical shut down and restart.

Oct 20, 2015 1:00 AM in response to zcolbsterby weirdbeardmt,Same problem. Lift lid after long(ish) sleep - screen wakes, notifications etc. come through but the keyboard and trackpad are frozen.
Tried connecting two different USB keyboards, neither of these work. So it appears to be a wider hardware error.
Force restart "works".

Oct 21, 2015 10:04 AM in response to weirdbeardmtby dnlopes,I do actually. Do you think this bug might be related to that?

Oct 21, 2015 10:06 AM in response to dnlopesby weirdbeardmt,★HelpfulOther stuff I've suggested points to it. The test is to shut down all your VMs (possibly kill Fusion altogether) before you let the machine sleep for a while. See if it persists. That's what I'm trying at present.. so far it seems to comply.
