Oct 4, 2015 6:13 PM in response to The Art Of Soundby Muzicman,As already reported Native Instruments, Isotope and Nuendo/Cubase are not compatible with OS X.11. In my experience with these companies they are quick to advertise the **** our of your mailbox for your business, but they are slow to update their products, so that they work properly. I finally quite Cubase in 2000 and went to Logic and have never returned, because Steinberg was so bad about upgrading their products in a timely manner for the Mac OS.
I can say that although Apogee would love to have you drop $2600 for their latest version of Ensemble and $700 for a newer Duet, my Firewire versions of these digital i/o products both work perfectly under OS X.11. El Capitan has been a fantastic update, so far, for me. There are only a few software companies that aren't keeping up and the names are the same as always.

Oct 4, 2015 11:42 PM in response to The Art Of Soundby cOffysOul,For those that used the NI work around to fix they plugins as well as other plugins like i have with my SonnOx plugins which are working just fine i would strongly advice that you switch "System Integrity Protection" back on once you have scanned your plugins and logic can detect them.

Oct 10, 2015 6:13 PM in response to The Art Of Soundby Marco Brandao,Here is my problem with El Capitan and Logic Pro X. I made a fresh clean install of El Capitan, I erased the drive and installed it new. After the OS was installed and configured I went to the App Store and installed Logic Pro X from my Purchased list. It installed fine.
When I opened Logic for the first time it gave a message window about a library it was downloading. It went well, but when Logic opened its window for the first time, I had a surprise because it looks just like Garageband with the wood like strip on each side.
I checked the about window and it says Logic Pro X 10.2.0. That beautiful Pro interface is gone. So trashed and installed it again, but the GB interface is still there.

This is because, after a fresh install... you are running Logic in Garageband Pro mode....
Go to Logic's preferences and turn on ALL the advanced Tools....

Oct 21, 2015 4:18 PM in response to The Art Of Soundby Metalizer,I just can't see the point of AU validation, in the first place. It only makes life **** for musicians trying to get some work done.
Tell me, when has an AU ever posed a problem in Garageband or Logic as malware?
I have never seen or heard of any case going right back to OS X 10.0.0 or Mac OS 9.
AU validation should be scrapped. Give us a break!

LOL.. Validation has nothing to do with checking if a plugin is malware........... though that's an interesting idea for sure!
It's mainly checking that it will function correctly within DAWs and not typically cause issues, conflicts or crashes within the DAW.... for example.
Cheers..
