Q: OSX El Capitan: Can't Boot after Software Initiated Reboot
I installed OSX El Capitan on my Macbook Pro about one week ago, and since that I needed to reinstall the system 3 times when the Macbook can't boot after it restarts and just shows Apple logo and empty progress bar.
At least in 2 of those 3 times the restart is initiated by software (after installing Little Snitch, and after installing Logitech Control Center).
When it happened, I tried resetting NVRAM and SMC with no luck, and tried two ways to enter Safe Mode (pressing Shift key and doing it from Terminal) and no luck.
The only way I can make the Macbook boot again is to reinstall the system again.
Anybody had this before? What do you think the reason could be? Is there a simpler way to fix the Macbook in this case without reinstalling the complete system?

I finally managed to fix the problem.
It was a problematic 3rd party driver (kernel extension) that is, apparently, incompatible with El Capitan, thus causes the system to freeze while trying to load it.
The solution was to remove it and restart, and everything worked beautifully.
In my case the driver was EltimaAsync.kext located at /System/Library/Extensions/. It's a driver for an app I didn't intended to install, but seems it was installed by some other app installer.
For other people having this problem:
It could be another driver in your case, so you have to check all third party drivers.
