Q: I need to sync my MacBook with my Iphone 6 through bluetooth

I need to sync my MaBook (12" Retina 2015) with my Iphone 6 through bluetooth. I have information on how to do it with a USB connector, but my MacBook does not have a USB port and I do not have a convertor for the port it comes with. I would like to be able to see my calendar events on both my phone and my Mac without having to enter everything twice. Same goes for everything else that can be synced such as music.

The instructions clearly state that you need to connect your phone with the USB cable that was included. As my Mac does not have a USB port, is there a way of syncing the devices without one?

Gotcha. I forgot you have to set it up initially with USB. The only way to do a true sync/backup is via USB, but you can sync calendars, contacts, etc using iCloud. However, this does require you to sign into iCloud on all devices you wish to have said content.

On you Mac: System Preferences > iCloud > Sign into your account
On iOS devices: Tap Settings > iCloud > Sign into your account
