Oct 24, 2015 1:51 AM in response to mat.tamby Luis Sequeira1,You mean when you drag a window all the way up, hold for *a second or two* and it opens Mission Control?
I never even knew this existed, you really have to drag until the window bumps into the menu bar and then hold steady for a bit. You mean you can cause this to easily happen unvoluntarily?
Or do you mean some *keyboard* shortcut for this thing? Or did I miss the point entirely?

Oct 24, 2015 3:48 AM in response to Luis Sequeira1by mat.tam,Yes: drag a window all the way up, hold for *a second or two* and it opens Mission. But it doesn't take a second or two, it only need a second "push" so it can be triggered easely. Is it possible to disable that?

Oct 24, 2015 5:55 AM in response to mat.tamby Luis Sequeira1,I will try to figure out if there a way to disable this.
FWIW I find that you really need to "push" very aggressively against the menu bar to trigger this behaviour, and if you then drag back down a little bit (without releasing the mouse button), it is undone. Not something that ever happened to me accidentally (like I said, I did not even know this existed!).

Jan 26, 2016 6:09 PM in response to mat.tamby my name is ben,I just called Apple Support. They said this is a feature within the actual operating system. So unless Apple makes it something we can turn off, we can't have it the way we'd like.

On your MacBook, use three fingers push up on the Track pad, and you can then dray the window to the desktop you want.

Jan 26, 2016 6:21 PM in response to ckuanby my name is ben,The point is to avoid Mission Control when dragging a window to the top of the screen, not using it to access Mission Control.

There is no point to activate Mission Control at all while dragging windows around; it's really annoying.

I'm with you Luis. I have been using El Capitan since the first beta last July if I remember correctly and have never accidentally triggered Mission Control by dragging windows to the top of the screen.
