Screenshots are taken when you press and hold the side button on your Apple Watch and then also press and immediately release the Digital Crown. To prevent this from happening by accident, try either:
- Wearing your watch a little higher on your wrist.
- Wearing your watch rotated by 180 degrees, so that the Digital Crown and side button are on the other side, where they may be less likely to be activated unintentionally.
- To adjust the display settings, on your iPhone in the Watch app: My Watch > General > Watch Orientation - change the side for the Digital Crown.

I TRIED MOVING MY WATCH HIGHER UP BUT IT DID NOT HELP. I STILL GOT SCREEN SHOTS.
I TURNED THE BAND AROUND AND CHANGED WATCH ORIENTATIONS ASWELL AND THIS GAVE ME
EVEN MORE WATCH SCREEN SHOTS.

It is not currently possible to disable the screenshot feature. If you would like to suggest that Apple considers adding that as an option, you can do so here:
