Q: Anyones health kit app stop working?

I went to bed last night and everything was tracking fine between my Healthkit app and myfitnesspal app. I had 5 or 6 things pinned to my dashboard. I woke up and it is all gone.. Nothing is pinned to my dashboard and when I swipe to put it on my dashboard and press back it still isn't there and I go back in and it is switched off. I click on the Show all data and it does the spiny thinking icon forever and won't populate. But my steps I think are still being calculated in myfitnesspal. I have killed all open apps, soft restart, hard restart and nothing has fixed it. I have the iPhone 6 64gb ATT with the os and all apps updated.

iPhone 6, iOS 8

I have an issue with the 'Show all Data' in health kit for steps. It seems to just lock up with the 'loading' animation when I click on that for steps. I probably have a year's worth of step data, and I'm not sure if its the amount of data which is preventing me from seeing the individual data points.

I have used the 'QS Access' app and it is able to export my steps no problem. I don't really want to loss my step data, but I would like to see it 'working' within the health kit application.

    Any suggestions?

Have been running IOS9 on my iPhone 5 since it came out last Wednesday.  At first I thought the upgrade had solved the issue of losing data in the Health App.  Not so!  The data and my medical ID info still sporadically disappear requiring you to turn the phone off and back on again to get it to reappear.  And now, the medical ID info won't even show under Emergency - it did before!  Come on Apple - I know you are better than this - good grief!

iPhone 5 with iOS 9.0.1 (13A404) here. Same problem: sometimes the health dashboard is empty and I have to turn my iPhone off and on to recover the data. It's really annoying

Did you ever get this resolved. I having the same issue on my 6s Plus w/9.0.2 with the Apple Watch. I've tried everything I can think of barring a complete reset to factory settings.

I upgrade from the iPhone5 and used my backup on the 6 to keep all my settings. I had paired my watch on the new 6 everything seemed fine, then overnight the Healthkit took a dump and all data was lost. The only thing that seems to work is the Emergency info.

My Healthkit has problems. Half works and the other half doesn't. I track my sleep using a Withings Aura. Every day the data makes it to Healthkit in the "Show All Data Points" section. But in the graph for sleep, it says "No Data." So the data is there but it is not there. Is there a way to make it there and there.

I agree, it must be the easily the worst app Apple have ever created.

It's worse than "useless", i.e. it's a negative nuisance. Mine takes up 8.7GB of space and I cannot delete it.

    What a pile of ***** !.

Apple are starting to resemble of MS of old.

No wonder Tim Cook is going to allow the deletion of some stock apps soon!

That's just the fastest workaround to this bug infested **** pile

There is no really helpful responses or insights from them on this issue.

So. This app quite tracking for me as well. Search for the problem brings me here to this 1 yr+ old thread and 1 major iOS upgrade later it seems it is not fixed.

Resets and removing linked apps does not fix it. I can not even add data manually. But I do know the hardware is working because I installed StepTracker app and all my steps from the day I got the phone are in there. So obviously it's the crap software that I can't delete.

    This is pretty sad.

I was able to resolve my issues following a few steps in conjunction with updating my phone to iOS 9.2.

My fix was based on another member's recommendation combined with some tips I had researched that never worked independently. I hope this method can help you [How I fixed Health: Health app not working; Health dashboard stuck; Health database corrupt.]
