    Hello there, OtemaDuncan.

It sounds like you're trying to enable three finger drag on your MacBook Pro. The following Knowledge Base article runs through how to do just that:

Turn on "three finger drag" for your Force Touch trackpad

Here's how to turn on three finger drag if your Mac has a Force Touch trackpad

    1. From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
    2. Click the Accessibility icon.
    3. Choose Mouse & Trackpad from the options on the left.
    4. Click Trackpad Options.
    5. Place a checkmark next to "Enable dragging."
    6. From the related pop-up menu, choose “three finger drag” so there's a checkmark next to it.
    7. Click OK.

Thanks for being a part of Apple Support Communities.

    Kind Regards.

Thanks a lot, this worked great. However I have one other problem...minimizing open windows using the double-click on the title bar. It only works for open Finder windows but not for any other applications, not even safari. I have enabled all the necessary options.Screen Shot 2015-10-25 at 9.16.32 PM.png
