Q: My six month macbook pro starts clicking when I turn it on. Any ideas about what is happening?

I have a mid 2014 MacBook Pro with Retina display. At start up I hear a clicking sound. Should I take it in to Apple?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), iOS 8.4.1

Of course you should. There may be something stuck in the fan.

There are only a few moving parts in it. The fan as noted above, and, depending on the configuration the hard drive. Something is wrong with one of them. Have it checked out.

A 6 months old MacBook Pro ? Take it to the nearest Apple Store after a backup
