My entire drive is encrypted using Apple encryption. If I add a windows partition will this screw up the windows installation and more importantly the Apple Flash drive? I have downloaded 64 Windows 10 and understand it has a separate encryption programme...what to do here?
Apple FileVault and Windows BitLocker are similar and provide some of the same functions. If you install Windows, FV will no longer do anything with that specific part of your storage. If you want to, you can use BitLocker on the Windows part. These two will be independent.
Also I am a bit confused about how to install the Windows 10. I downloaded the ISO version directly to my Mac Book Pro hard drive. Do I then have to copy this to an external USB and boot the install from the USB drive.
