- SafeBoot the computer, and then restart as normal: OS X Yosemite: Start up in safe mode
- If the issue persists, reset the NVRAM: How to Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
- If the issue persists, try using Disk Utility to repair your drive: Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck - Apple Support
- If the issue persists at this point, go to Apple > About this Mac and let us know what version of Mac OS you have installed (10.X.X).
