Q: Mitsubishi bluetooth problem

Went on vacation so turned off bluetooth on my iphone 5. Came back and put it on, but now the audio/volume wont work when in my car. It is connected- I can even see the song playing on screen- but no volume. So I switched source to usb and it now shows as "ipod" (lol) when I play a song but also no audio. The song is definitely playing when I look down at phone. Note that audio is fine on am/fm/sirius...

Also a high pitched squeal when on bluetooth and usb when my phone connected, instead of audio. Oh, and cant hear phone calls either...have to pick up phone and switch into "phone" on audio button during call.

Theories? Thanks.

No theories.  Have you tried to delete your phone from your car's bluetooth profile and vice versa,  and then re-pair the 2 devices?  Have you contacted your car's manufacturer to see if there's a firmware update for their bluetooth?

Thanks. I did delete the car on my phone and went to pair it again but there is no audio for the talking instructions either...forgot to mention that. I tried to do it "deaf" by just guessing at what it was saying but couldn't, plus doubt it would have helped since if even that audio is out theres something bigger wrong than just a bad pairing or whatever. Again, the audio is fine on am fm sirius. Bizarre. I will check on firmware update. Thanks again.
