Q: Mac doesn't boot OS X after extending Windows partition.
Hey ,i've macbook pro 13" mid2012 with el capitan. 8 gb ram and intel i7 processor And i've a problem. Yesterday i've installed windows by using bootcamp. Then partition of windows was fulled and there were no empty space for windows partition. I've tried to extend windows storage by using minitool sth. (don't use it) it restarted my machine. Windows has opened but when i tried to boot into os x ,computer has started with windows always. i tried many times but it didn't work. Then i read something about internet recovery. i've pressed cmd+r when my mbp was being started. it downloaded recovery program. I've clicked on disk utility then i saw that my OS X partition(it was disk1s1 i guess) is not connected and greyed out. now i'm trying to copy it to another hdd. There is no repair option to click on. so this is the question. if i copy the disk1s1 to my external hdd will i be able to see my all documents? if not when i reinstall os x ,will my all documents be deleted? Is there any way to connect it again by using windows? How can i backup all my documents? thanks.
