    Could you please clarify? Do you wish to record system audio while doing a screen movie with QuickTime X

    AND...

    also be able to monitor that system audio while recording?

     

    If so, I believe the Soundflower technique still works. You just need to create a Multi-Output Device that combines the Soundflower 2-channel and your default system output (main outs, built-in output) so you are both recording and monitoring. You set QuickTime's audio setting to Soundflower 2-channel.
