Q: I want to share my work through iCloud with a third party. How do I give them access?

How can I share my work with a third party via iCloud? I have the work uploaded, the third party is aware of it, yet neither of us can work out how to give access.

    Greetings Rick,

I see you are a new user here in Apple Support Communities - welcome! I hope we find you contributing often in the future.

It sounds as if you want to give another person access to documents you are keeping in iCloud. Is that right? I can help you with that.

You don't mention what kind of document this is, but for general sharing you will want to use iCloud Drive. If you have a Mac or iOS device that meets the requirements you can upload the document directly. From a Windows machine you can use a web browser, going to iCloud.com, and upload from there. This article describes how - iCloud: Use iCloud Drive on iCloud.com

To share the document, the other person must either be signed in to the same iCloud account, in which case they can access it from iCloud.com, or you can email it directly from iCloud Drive in iCloud.com. The above article mentions how to do both of these.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

    Be well.
