Q: I mailed my iphone to Apple and got the message saying it had been repaired and shipped. But one week passed and I still cannot get any information with my tracking number.

You will need to check with Apple - we are all other users here volunteering our time to help other users and wouldn't know about Apple's shipping of repaired products unfortunately.

• 'tracking' numbers are from the Waybill of the delivery service that gets place on the package - the 'customer' (repair depot) has software that prints labels and MAY notify the service, but may not notify if they ship a lot
• the 'notice' you received from the repair depot is likely generated when they place the waybill ON the package - or might be from the print stage
• the package may sit there for some time in "batch" of packages awaiting the delivery service pick up of the batch
• the number gets scanned into the delivery service's tracking system when it arrives at a distribution hub - in the batch
  • individual items in the batch are not scanned at the pick-up point when there is a batch

It may be that trying again daily (more often?) may show the tracking show up.
