Q: Safari not connecting, while chrome works just fine

I just upgraded to Mac OSX 10.11.1 (15B42). Now Safari will not connect to the internet. I am currently running Safari 9.0.1 (11601.2.7.2)

Anyone experiencing this issue?

First, please restart your router and also your broadband device, if they're separate.

Thank you, I restarted my computer after the update to OSX 10.11.1 that seems to have solved it.
