With an expectation that Apple should redesign its product per your requirements.

Aug 18, 2015 7:26 AM in response to Philly_Phanby matt020876,Where did I say that? I did complain that I felt shafted by apple - but nowhere did I call on or expect apple to change functionality.
I merely posed a work around for people to use - which at the end of the day 99% of the people posting on this issue want - not some obstructive unhelpful attitude!

You felt shafted because the iPhone functions as it was designed to function! Amazing.
There's no need for a workaround - use the product as it was intended to be used and you'll have no problems.

Aug 18, 2015 7:40 AM in response to Philly_Phanby matt020876,Really ???? So the 300gb of Icloud Storage will be - despite apple saying otherwise will be able to be shared across my family. Apple music will work properly across the family without each oters music suddenly appearing on each others devices? My phot stream will be able to be viewed on the other devices? No it isn't!
Ive tried Family sharing its not fit for purpose yet. Once it is ill use it in the meantime the workaround works perfectly well. Which the OP was after.

Actually I wasn't whining, I was pointing out if you sacrifice the handoff function/facetime then devices work as users here and myself wish to use them...
Your attitude is quite frankly unhelpful and unwanted
To be clear, you recommend disabling functionality in order to accommodate multiple users on one account without this problem, is this correct?

Aug 18, 2015 7:56 AM in response to Csound1by matt020876,Yes hence the term 'Sacrifice'
Neither myself or my wife and children will reap much benefit from having handoff - or using wifi for calls (We have the Vodafone sure signal which uses the wifi to boost Cellular signal)
This is a better sacrifice than losing the ability to share our 15000 photos we have stored in icloud storage, and sharing an apple music subscription which works correctly which it doesn't with family sharing turned on.

Aug 18, 2015 8:02 AM in response to matt020876by Csound1,Then continue as you are if it works for you, it certainly would not work for me, I prefer the way it was designed to work. You should inform Apple of your preferences, maybe they will make changes in order to accommodate them. Tell them at this site Apple.com/feedback.
Accept that as IOS evolves you may find more unexpected behavior to appear, but I am sure that you will be able to find more functionality to abandon in the search for a multi user system.

Sep 22, 2015 8:22 PM in response to Jbbttusmuby pdw965,The suggestion to turn off handoff didn't work, but reminded me of the problems that I had when setting up handoff between my iphone/macbook air and the solution to that. So I had one more thing to try: check your icloud setup and see if you are using your legacy @me.com account on one of the devices instead of your new @icloud.com account. If you are, then sign out (settings, icloud, scroll all the way to the bottom to sign out. You will have to give your icloud password to log out of find my iphone.) Test to see if that worked. Then sign back in with your @icloud.com account. This solved the problem for me. For tonight, anyway...

Oct 19, 2015 7:36 PM in response to Lawrence Finchby MitchAtTheBeach,Absolutely not true. As I type this, my wife and I are 1000 miles apart and we are both getting each other's call logs on the other's phone.

Oct 28, 2015 7:33 AM in response to MitchAtTheBeachby Hypercolor,I Have ALL the same problem plus one more; now someone calls someone in my group, random people outside my group show it on their phone as a missed call. I've started getting calls from random people telling me they missed a call from me. Wonder if they're getting my texts too. This seems to be a security or privacy issue Apple needs to address.
