Q: Disable power off message

When I power off using the "Shut Down" option I get a warning message and I have to click OK. How do I stop that warning and just shut down by a single action. Thanks.

    Hi omits,

I understand that you would like to skip the message prompt that is letting you know that you are shutting down your Mac. Let's see what we can come up with.

That is something that you can do, it just something that is not done in the drop down menu. You will want to use a keyboard shortcut. When using the keyboard shortcut that I have outlined in bold for you, it will just immediately close all apps and shuts down your Mac.  Take a look at that and other shortcuts that might be beneficial for you.

"Hold power button for five seconds" does an uncontrolled Power Off -- It just drops the power.

This should never be used routinely, because it does not "put away" the modified copy of the Disk Directory that is stored in RAM -- Disk Directory damage may result.
