Oct 30, 2015 11:34 AM in response to le.bouchby Patrixmtl,I feel that the Apple TV 4 is not able to see our photos in iCloud.
Official documentation supports only photostream and album sharing.
I feel back to iOS 6...
Back to the future please!

Oct 30, 2015 3:17 PM in response to GreggersUKby mjcalabrese,Are you kidding me??? No icloud photos on Apple TV gen 4. Who cares about photo stream photos, where are my 10,000 other pictures? Very unhappy.

Oct 30, 2015 3:26 PM in response to GreggersUKby Protodd,I Have the photo app and when I click it it allows me to view any/all my photos that I have shared on the cloud. For example, in my cloud photo stream I have 3 albums shared plus the recent activity stream. So it doesn't show you ALL the photos you have in the cloud rather just the albums you have selected to share on the cloud...

Oct 30, 2015 7:02 PM in response to GreggersUKby DSalpeter,I'm seeing the same thing, and it is ridiculous. I can see albums, shared albums, and photo stream, but it seems that they don't support iCloud Photo Library yet. Between this, lack of good navigation in app store, lack of siri support for apple music at launch, and lack of apple remote support for iPhone, the product is feeling pretty half baked to me at this point I must say. And this is coming from a pretty unabashed Apple fan who ordered two of these devices sight unseen.

I'm shocked that the new Apple TV does not support iCloud Photo Library. Are they guys at Apple not talking to each others??
IT'S A BAD APPLE!

Oct 31, 2015 1:50 AM in response to GreggersUKby Anthony J Howe,Full library iCloud photos has never been part of Apple TV including with previous Apple TV versions, only shared albums via photo stream.
The new icon which is the same on your other Apple devices iOS 9 may give this impression of all iCloud library photos.
WIth Apple putting this new photo icon on the Apple TV, makes me believe they intend to support this in the near future.

Oct 31, 2015 1:56 AM in response to GreggersUKby luc betbeder,Genuine disappointment on lack of photo album integration. I expect it is in the pipeline but I think that ill be returning this apple TV until it has better photo album support and when I can go back to using my iPhone to type passwords etc.

Nov 7, 2015 2:46 PM in response to GreggersUKby Dinks683,I can't see my iCloud Photo Library Albums, only Photo Stream, but on the Apple website there is an image showing the Photo Stream alongside other private albums. How did they do this, or is it a marketing stumble? I'd really like to be an iCloud Photos customer and Apple TV user...

Dec 2, 2015 4:50 PM in response to GreggersUKby ecomm.cart,Come on Apple make this happen! I have over 30,000 photos and videos in my icloud library at this point that I want to access from my Apple TV 4. The TV will be a great way for my family to view the pictures, since they are all using different Apple ID's (different icloud) on their personal devices. I don't want to have the extra step of setting up and constantly adding/pruning to a shared library or the most recent random 1000 pics from photo stream.
Hope this will be in the next TV OS update!!
