Q: How can I connect the new Apple TV to my stereo so I can listen to audio thru my better speaker system?

I Currently use the Apple TV to watch you tube music videos, stream music from my iTunes library, and watch movies all of of which I prefer to listen to thru my stereo for best sound. How can I do this with the new Apple no audio output?

    As le.bouche noted above, either use your TV as the switch to

    optical for your sound system or for TV-only content connect cable

    box directly to sound system. Good luck, Tom

    iI've been very happy with the Apple TV I have, and won't bother with the new one because of the audio issue. I don't want to have to buy more switches etc...and can use vocal commands with my Amazon Echo., thanks for your help.
