Can I use my iPhone or iPad instead of the remote to control the new Apple TV? Can the Apple TV be behind a closed cabinet door?

    The iOS remote app hasn't been updated yet to support the new Apple TV 4. The Siri remote is now BT rather than IR and doesn't need line of sight. As long as the signal strength is good enough it will probably work from within a cabinet. Try it and see I guess.
