Q: Impossible d'installer windows 7 sur mac mini

Bonjour,

savez vos comment faire? merci.

Mac mini, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

Does your DVD have both 64-bit and 32-bit W7? You can download the W7 64-bit iSO directly from Microsoft using your Product Key - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/home .

If you see black screens, first disconnect all external storage, except the USB which has the installer or BC drivers and retry BC Assistant. You should also use Disk Utility and Repair your internal disk.

The following two procedures can also be executed if the black screens continue.

Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support

How to Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

Are you using Create an ISO image for Boot Camp from Windows installation media - Apple Support to create your ISO? Is your ISO file open when BC Assistant is executing/running?

Thanks for helping  but nothing changes ... :

My Windows DVD is a 64 bits.

And when I go to the microsoft website to download an iSO it says :

The product key you entered appears to be for software pre-installed by the device manufacturer. Please contact the device manufacturer for software recovery options.

I have tried different things for black screen :

1 - Only connect the USB key (wich contains the drivers) and the DVD reader (and screen naturally ).

2 - Repair the HDD with Disk Utility and reboot and only connect the USB key (wich contains the drivers) and the DVD reader then boot on the DVD.

    3 - create a USB bootable Key with windows 7 x64 ISO.

It was windows XP ISO (i have found W7 ISO in my HDD).

Finally I have reset the NVRAM and SMC. and also redownloaded Bootcamp drivers...

    1. Your DVD is an OEM Windows DVD, and should not be used for re-installign windows on any machine other than the original machine it was purchased with. It may be a restore DVD. You should consider buying a retail version. W10 is supported on your 2012 Mini.

    2. Can you post the directory listing of the USB from Finder? You can expand just one level of directories.

Are you able to install Windows using the ISO created from the same OEM DVD?
