Oct 23, 2015 12:48 PM in response to Roland der Grosseby IluvmyiPAD,I'm running the latest iCloud Windows Control Panel with Windows 10 and Outlook 2013. I'm not having problems. I only have problems with Calendar and Mail integration with outlook if I upgrade to Outlook 2016. So I believe the problem is with Outlook 2016 and not Windows 10.

Oct 24, 2015 11:54 AM in response to jordan2xyxby piano.dude,iCloud 5 seems to have been released yesterday, but after installing it, the same issue occurs for me with Outlook 2016 and Windows 10 that happened with Version 4.1, which is that iCloud complains that here is no default profile set for Outlook. I even did a complete uninstall and a search and destroy for all remnants of iCloud on the hard drive and in the registry, to no avail. After reinstalling iCloud 5, same problem. It does not matter whether Outlook is closed or open, after checking the sync Contacts and Calendars check box and hitting Accept, the error pops up again. After hitting cancel, there is some brief spinning of a wait cursor indicating it is trying to set up Outlook, but nothing happens.
I did check and my version of Office is 32 bit, iCloud previously worked with Office 365, even after upgrade to Windows 10.

Oct 27, 2015 8:00 AM in response to piano.dudeby ipinc,This is really starting to infuriate me! Do you think apple techs are snickering behind our backs because 'how dare we use an MS product anyway...or a PC'? I spent over 8 hrs uninstalling EVERY apple component on my pc...IN ORDER...I'm talking itunes...every tiny little thing... Uninstalled O365's Office 2016 and every component... reinstalled everything - IN ORDER... did the icloud update Saturday 10-24-15... no fix. Stupidly, I tried to repair it again...hahahahaha... why? yeah, no it never repairs. I'm not going back to Office 2015, I'm not going to budge on MY end - Apple needs to fix this!

Oct 27, 2015 10:02 AM in response to ipincby Roland der Grosse,Hi ipinc,
have you use the MS tool "O15CTRRemove.diagcab" for removing Office 2016?
A description are here: https://community.office365.com/en-us/f/148/t/409822
This has worked for me:
- logout on icloud
- uninstall icloud
- uninstall Office 2016 with the tool "O15CTRRemove.diagcab" and reboot
- install Office 2013
- install all updates for Office 2013 (huge list, neets 3-4 times to get them all)
- configure Outlook (i do not use the icloud mail me.com)
- reboot
- install icloud 5
- reboot
- let icloud configure Outlook.
It may occure that the icloud was not uninstalled fully and needs one repair, but not infinite of them.
There is a risk to get an install loop, cause with Windows 10 you cannot asure the right sentence on which the Patches has to be installed.
So please double check to have a backup with a boot medium to go back.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Roland

Oct 27, 2015 4:12 PM in response to Roland der Grosseby mcglover,Thank you for your suggestion, but this is not a reasonable fix. Apple or Windows needs to fix this. There are thousands of users who committed to this system years ago and who now depend on it. Address updates need to be automated.

Oct 27, 2015 5:02 PM in response to jordan2xyxby teiemitchell,After looking at all the comments, I am evaluating my loyalty to Apple. We have 3 iPhones, 2 iPads, and a MacPro. Looking at replacing them all if this problem continues.

Oct 30, 2015 10:09 AM in response to Roland der Grosseby ipinc,Roland - I appreciate your response to me...however, I do not want to go from Office or Outlook 2016 to 2013 - I pay an annual fee for Microsoft's Office365 Exchange... so I should get updates that I pay for and enjoy the latest Office software. Apple needs to fix the iCloud plug in for Outlook 2016, Windows10. I pay for iCloud storage, I have iTunes, and an iPhone...but a lot of us integrate both into our PC lives : ) If I have depended on an Outlook plug-in from Apple for ALL these years for my PC - in order to have ALL of my 1534 business contacts in Outlook....then I should be able to enjoy the Outlook iCloud plugin like everyone on previous Outlook versions!

Nov 3, 2015 11:44 AM in response to jordan2xyxby grr1212,So my desktop (PC) with Windows10 and now MS Office 2016 (365)
has Outlook 2016 and iCloud v5.0 works Great on my Desktop, However (you know
there is always a Butt) On updating my wife’s laptop, she has Windows10 to MS
Office 365 (2016) Outlook 2016, iCloud v5.0 it is not working on Outlook 2016.
We also share Calendars and I see everything put on the iCloud calendar from my
Outlook 2016.I have looked High and Low on my desktop with Outlook
add-ins to the “Windows Registry” to see why it works on my desktop and not my
wife’s laptop and I just can’t find anything. I don’t know if it is Microsoft
or Apple… Like everyone else I hope there will be a fix soon very soon (for my
wife is going to kill me LOL)Regards,

Nov 3, 2015 11:48 AM in response to grr1212by IluvmyiPAD,Gear up because it doesn't seem like this is getting any traction with Apple or Microsoft.

Nov 5, 2015 7:34 PM in response to grr1212by Msoller,Does anyone have a way to download your contacts if iCloud isn't working on your PC because of this problem? Since they disappeared from my Outlook, I would like to import them from my online iCloud account but it doesn't look like you can unless you have a Mac.
