Q: Mouse and Touchpad not clicking after sleep - hard restart needed
Hi,
I have just updated to El Capitan and every time I put the mac to sleep, the touchpad and mouse clicks do not work anymore. Gestures do. I need to perform a hard restart every time I wake up the Mac.
I am using an external monitor, mouse and keyboard, all from non-Apple brands, such as Logitech and Dell. However I would like to stress the fact that even the built-in touchpad does not click.
This is a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)

This is really interesting! I have got a message today saying that a trackpad has low battery. Indeed I had a trackpad connected ages ago to the computer (it was in our office shelf because no is using it). I have disconnected it and the click returned. I do not confirm a fix of the problem, only this particular time it revived the clicking. I don't understand why the internal touchpad would block anyway if you connect a peripheral.
