Nov 2, 2015 8:38 AM in response to Jojob723by Eric Root,It might. Do you have a backup?
Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair Disk and Repair Permissions until you get no errors. Then re-install the OS.

Nov 2, 2015 6:45 PM in response to OGELTHORPEby Jojob723,Alright but the question still stands, will a mew hard drive fix the problem? If it's necessary I'll go buy a new one and replace it. Also, I think i have a 2009 macbook air, but im gonna assume that switching those wouldnt work?
