Apple is on my mind. Forever changing things for the worse. I have tried to get answers from you on several subjects but no real action. Please tell me how to transfer photos from my iPhone to my mac without using I tunes which is a big pain in the backside. get rid of it.

Importing personal photos and videos from the iPhone/iOS device to a computer does not use iTunes. It uses a Image Capture or other Camera app. See:

On a Mac iPhoto or Photos is typically used.
Does the iPhone appear as a device in Image Capture?
