Q: Email links not working

Any links I get in email don't work, I have an iPad air running iOS 9.1. I have managed a temporary fix by enabling and then disabbling iCloud restrictions but it's only temporary, can anyone suggest a permanet fix?

N.B. I also have two games by GI that don't recognise my internet connection, wondered if the two issues might be related....

    Hello RussandNorm,

     

    It sounds like you need to toggle iCloud restrictions on then back off to make Mail open links when you tap them, and that is only a temporary fix. That certainly sounds like unexpected behavior so lets see what we can do about that. First I would quit the Mail and the Settings apps:

     

    Force an app to close in iOS

    1. Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps.
    2. Swipe left to find the app you want to close.
    3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.

     
    When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:

    iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
     

    If the issue persists then I would next remove the affected mail account(s) from the iPad, restart and add them back and test the issue again:

    1. Remove the affected email account from your device with these steps: 
         
      1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
      2.  
      3. Tap the email account.
      4.  
      5. Tap Delete Account.
      6.  
      7. Add your account again.
