Nov 4, 2015 3:25 AM in response to stuandvonby UlmerGreenland,Download iTunes install file, extract the file with 7-zip, (make a new folder to the files) go into the folder, install files, but not the AppleSuftwareUpdate.
After you installed the files, install the original itunes installer.

Dec 7, 2015 11:41 AM in response to sheikhshariqby hhgttg27,That looks wrong - the 64-bit installer should be called iTunes6464setup.exe. I would try downloading again from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ or using this direct link:
- iTunes 12.3.1.23 for Windows 7 or later, 64-bit: iTunes6464Setup.exe
If you still get errors it may be worth trying the "for older video cards" version, which is actually the 32-bit application with a 64-bit installer and may be more stable on some systems:- iTunes 12.3.1.23 for Windows 7 or later, 64-bit "for older video cards": itunes64setup.exe
