Nov 3, 2015 12:23 PM in response to roger rstby Sraddha Durand,I'm feeling pretty dumb right now - I've searched google for 'apple tv app store' and all I get are various descriptions about what is on the store: all the great games, netflix, etc. What I would like to do is see the actual tv app store as if I were looking at it from apple tv. I'd like to be able to search it to see if particular apps that I have on my iPad (like acorn tv, for example) will be available.
If there is a way to view this on my computer, can you please be specific about how.
thanks

Nov 3, 2015 7:59 PM in response to roger rstby Sraddha Durand,So, you are saying I have to buy an Apple TV first, then I can see the apple tv store, which may or may not offer what I am looking for. Is there truly no way of accessing the store without owning the apple tv?

Nov 3, 2015 8:05 PM in response to Meg St._Clairby Sraddha Durand,I do have iTunes. I have not seen any Apple TV apps - the iTunes store has iPhone and iPad apps, it does not seem to be the same thing as the Apple TV store.

Nov 3, 2015 9:02 PM in response to Sraddha Durandby morrispe,Correct. At this time you can only access the Apple TV store from the Apple TV 4. It hasn't even been a week since launch so the store will grow quickly and what is available right now is not indicative of what will be there a month from now or 6 months from now. The ability to browse the Apple TV app store from iTunes for from the web is something that could show up in future.

If you want an app not on the Featured Page, basically you need to guess the name of it then search with that thing they refer to as a 'remote' on a letter picker.
It's like they had 2 weeks to make this thing. So weird.
