    Hey Stu,

I understand that you're not able to get a particular email account to receive incoming messages now that you've upgraded to OS X 10.11. Fortunately we've an article (linked below) that details a number of troubleshooting steps which can help get the affected account to work correctly.

Thanks, Pedro:  I tried the Apple Support stuff but nothing seems wrong and nothing helped.  I even went to my Yahoo/ATT email acts and everything seems fine there.  Both of my email acts work fine on my iPhone, and all is fine on my Macbook Gmail acct.  My Macbook sbcglobal act can send email but not receive.    I'm not sure about the Incoming Mail Server name. It is currently "pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com" I think it always was this.  Apple support listing shows that it should be "imap.mail.att.net" - I don't see any way to change it to this. On my phone, it seems to be "imap.mail.yahoo.com".

I'm quite confused!  Any other users have this problem with OS X 10.11.1?  Everything was fine before I upgraded.

    Stu,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Community. Due to the nature of your issue or question you may find more information by using another one of Apple's support resources - https://getsupport.apple.com/GetproductgroupList.action.

    All my best

I just spoke to Apple Support and was told that this is a problem with El Capitan accessing "pop" servers and will be fixed in 10.11.2. which s/b out soon.

Thanks to Pedro and Allen for trying to help,
