Q: GPS problem iPhone 6S

I have problems with my iPhones gps to locate satellites using Waze, NAVIGO and maps all having the same problem. Use to have a 4, 4s, 5, 5s, 6 now 6S and during the same line of travel I have never lost contact with satellites. I'm currently running iOS 9.1. I have restarted, re installed, re booted. But get the same result. Do you have any good tips on what to do?

I've contacted Apple Support about this issue and they are sending me a replacement iPhone 6s. This issue is not known by Apple. So please, everybody who has this problem: call Apple Support, visit your local Apple Store and report this issue. I reported this forum topic to Apple so that they can do something about this. Complaining here will not solve the issue. It will not give Apple a chance to help us out. So please, take the time to report it, it will help us all.

It is a known problem to Apple support I have a reference number logged with this exact issue and I have already received 3 different phones, used with different operators in different countries. The only way to get GPS to work is to switch of 4G network.

I also contacted Apple about this, they told me that it's not a known issue. This morning I contacted someone who works for Apple and alerted him about this topic. He promised me that he would report this so that they could investigate what is causing this issue. But people do have to contact Apple if we want a solution for this.

I await the response from Apple engineers when they do not want to replace the mobile as a first step. Apple's senior department thought this was an iOS problem or operator problems since it works with another operator's 4G network.

Replacing your iPhone will most probably not solve the problem as it did not solve it for anybody else! It is ether a general hardware problem or software problem since iOS 9.0.2 with the iPhone6S. Changing your carrier would help probably.

I'm still waiting for the results from Apple's engineer team. I will get you guys posted. Because 2 days now with my original carrier Maps / Google Maps / Waze has worked with 4G. Very strange. I did actually call my carrier and told them that the issue may hang on them because the other carriers 4G simcard worked normally.
Im using the Highway to test the GPS on my iPhones 6S Plus and its a 75km distance back and forward.
I don't think its an hardware issue.

I Am having a similar issue on my iPhone 6s Plus, 64gb, running 9.1 on Sprint's network in the US. Oddly enough, Apple Maps, Google Maps and Google Now seem to have no trouble using my gps or giving me directions, but Siri does not recognize the gps (she tells me to turn location services on, which are on), and none of my weather apps are able to tell where I am. Safari also cannot tell where I am. This would lead me to believe it isn't hardware, since the gps is clearly functioning well for some programs. Also, tried the LTE trick, turning it off did not help. I was on the beta 9.2 on my iPhone 6 Plus, I may update my 6s Plus and see if that solves anything.
