Q: how do you force quit safari windows on iPad
Help, using safari on my iPad inadvertently I've clicked on something and it now seems that I've won a prize if I click OK! (facebook.fbprize-cm.xyz) Now safari is unresponsive. I can't close that window, close any other windows that are open or open a new window. How do I clear my safari open pages? I have turned the iPad off and on again - no difference. I have swiped safari closed but when I reopen it remembers all previously open pages so I am back at the beginning. How do I clear this without clicking OK? Thank you

First try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons until the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait until your iPad starts in it's own.
You mentioned you tried force closing the app with no success. If the reset does't work try switching to another app then switching back to Safari. Before the page loads see if you can tap the two squares in the upper right to minimize the screen. Then delete the tab. You need to be very quick.
