Nov 5, 2015 9:49 PM in response to reeeeenyby gail from maine,If the Mac isn't running Yosemite or higher, then no, he or she wouldn't be able to see your iPhone messages, as this is a function of Continuity:
System requirements for Continuity on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac - Apple Support
Use Continuity to connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac - Apple Support

Nov 5, 2015 10:05 PM in response to gail from maineby reeeeeny,MY sons and his dad's are signed into the same Apple ID n that is his dad's Apple ID but my iPhone is signed into my Apple ID and iMessage . This is very confusing. As I'm wondering if my son doesn't get all of my messages bcos maybe his dad deletes some of them

Nov 5, 2015 10:11 PM in response to reeeeenyby gail from maine,If they are sharing the same Apple ID, and they are both running iOS 8 or higher, then it is entirely possible. Your son should have his own Apple ID to prevent this.
You can set up an Apple ID for him to use for iCloud, Messages, Mail, etc. but he can still use the shared Apple ID for the iTunes & App Store.
Best of luck,

Nov 5, 2015 10:29 PM in response to gail from maineby reeeeeny,Omg does that mean that if my son has my Mac at his dad's then he can access my saved calendar entries, notes Etc bcos I save my passwords in notes

Nov 5, 2015 10:35 PM in response to reeeeenyby gail from maine,Well, if he has your Mac at his Dad's, then anyone who has access to the Mac could see that stuff. Not sure how you would prevent that unless your son was set up as a separate user on the Mac, and he didn't know the password for your User account. Do you have a separate User account set up for your son?
