Shared albums are not visible in the photos.app on   https://www.icloud.com/#photos

If you want to see the shared album in iCloud, publish the shared album as a web page and use the URL for the published webpage to see the album online.

Only people you invite and send the URL to will be able to access the public webpage.

See:  iCloud Photo Sharing FAQ - Apple Support

If you enabled the Public Website option when you set up your shared album, your friends and family can view your photos and videos from any current web browser using a link that you provide.

To use iCloud Photo Sharing, you need an iCloud account (Apple ID), compatible devices, and up-to-date software:

    • iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using iOS 7 or later
    • Mac using OS X Mavericks v10.9 or later and either iPhoto 9.5 or Aperture 3.5
    • Apple TV with Apple TV software 6.0 or later
    • PC using Windows 7 or later and iCloud for Windows (or iCloud Control Panel 3.1 or later)

Some shared an album with me. I see it on my iPhone (in Shared). But, not in iCloud. And, not on my PC. Yes, I did accept the invitation. We both have iCloud accounts and are all set up.

    But, not in iCloud.

It is not supposed to show in iCloud. Only on the public webpage, if that has been enabled.

oh! okay - 2nd part of the big question: I used to be able to "see" the Shared Folders in my iCloud Photos folder on my PC. I have the Shared folder, but nothing is in it. Did that change, too?

I have not seen any mention that this has changed.  But I do not have a PC; so I cannot help with the PC part of the question.

Okay! Many many thanks for the info...got it now! Maybe someone else knows about the iCloud Photos album on a PC and the Shared folder.

    Thanks again.
