    *UPDATE*

Went to an Apple store today and they replaced the front display. So far so good.

I can see why you're skeptical and if it does in fact run into issues, they will replace the whole phone. I know this because I was in that predicament. When they replaced the screen, everything was fine and dandy, sorta of. One minor issue I noticed was that when touching any part of the screen, mostly in the center, you can see pressure points on the LCD as if you are touching the display directly. I wasn't happy, but I was willing to let that slide. What ticked me off was when I got a new case on my phone, it didn't "hug" the screen as tightly that when I tapped the display, it sounded as if it wasn't adhered to the body on the phone correctly that it made a clicking noise. Like there was a slight gap between the display and the body. Upset, I made another Genius appointment, and they replaced it without hesitation. I was worried I wasn't able to replicate the clicking that I threw in the issue with the pressure on the LCD while touching the phone, but the Genius held it up to her ear, and said it's very slight but I'll replace the whole phone.

So long story short, if they do in fact replace just the screen, they will replace the whole phone the second time around.

    HI all,

I had the same problem on iPhone 6 space gray 64gb UK, I had it replaced with a brand new one and after a month, same problem again.

    I'm quite disappointed.

Just got off the phone with Apple and there is no resolution in sight! My original iPhone 6's front facing camera had this issue. Apple had me drive two hours to their store and they replaced the front panel of both of the  phones. Within two weeks the replacement panel had the same issue so I called apple and they had me drive to a different apple store (two hours away) where they just gave me a completely different phone. Not two weeks later this new phone has the same issue. Before this I had to have my iPhone 5c replaced 5 times because the screen kept making clicking sounds! IVE LOST ALL FAITH IN APPLE PRODUCTS! I GUESS I NEED TO GO FIND MY 4S. THAT WAS A QUALITY PHONE!

And why didn't you choose the option to replace via mail instead of driving two hours?

Not everyone has 400 dollars to put down as a deposit. I sent my 5c through the mail each time I had it replaced and had to go without a phone for a week. This shouldn't be happening on a brand new phone!

    HI all,

Today I brought in for service my second brand new iPhone showing the same problem at the front camera again.

The guy at the Genius Bar told me that the first big batch of iPhone 6 were affected by the problem and he also told me that it's better this time to change only the screen instead of getting a brand new phone as they still may be affected (not the new spare screens I assume..). I was happy to keep my phone with a new screen. Will keep posting what happens..

3rd replacement and after a month the problem is STILL there.

Tomorrow I will go to Apple for the 4th time and ask if they finally solved the problem or if I have to accept it and live with it.

While it shouldn't happen to a new phone, that's not my point.

    Apple gives you three options:

    A) Exchange at an Apple Store.

    B) Send your phone to Apple via mail at their shipping cost.

    C) Get the express replacement that has a $29 shipping fee (which is automatically waived if you have AppleCare) and put down a credit card hold.

You have three options.  Pick one.  What other replacement option would you have like to seen?

I got same issue as well I went to the apple store earlier and they said they will going to replace my phone. They advice me that It will take 3 - 4 weeks that's the maximum time frame. I doubt that they will change my phone cause if they do they should change the serial number of my phone am I correct??? new unit has different serial number as far as i know, why don't they say that they will going to change the screen of fix the cam instead of saying they will replace with a new one without a box its quite tricky ....... I am so disappointed with iphone but still i love it...

Well I am glad that I saw this, tthis is an issue I've had with my phone for months and it seems out of all my friends, I'm the only one with this issue

when you take it back to Apple, do they charge you?  I paid for apple care, but I'm hoping since it's a defect a fix would be free of charge?

is there anything I should do before bringing it in?  Like do I need to save my pics and stuff or it doesn't really matter?

I live in Brazil; bought an iPhone 6 in NY in December, 2014; replacement/repairs took place in Orlando (Jan-2015), São Paulo (June-2015), NY (Oct-2015). The camera is still out of the line... incredible, hum? Now, my iPhone is out of warranty and the f***** camera is still out of place... So great, Apple!!!

Between me and my partner we have had this problem on 10 iPhone 6 handsets in the last 10 months. All apple will do is replace the phone so when my warranty runs out we will be left with 2 faulty iPhone 6 handsets. I've asked them over and over again the change the phones for another model but they refuse because they claim that this issue isn't a problem! But considering we've had 10 phones the same in 10 months I'd say it was a pretty big problem. Has a else had this problem this many times? And what was your outcome?
