Q: OS X El Capitan upgrade does not proceed

I donwloaded OS X El Capitan and nothing happens after that. In appstore it shows as donwloaded but nothing happens after that and does not give option to proceed.

    While the upgrade should start to run automatically and then wait for you to give further instructions, I've read that that doesn't always happen. In that  case, look for "Install OS X El Capitan" in your Applications folder and doubleclick on it to get it started.
