Nov 8, 2015 3:30 AM in response to zinacefby eunicekhong,Thanks but my point is that I still have 1.2Gb of free space. So why should it be out of storage?

Nov 8, 2015 4:10 AM in response to eunicekhongby Winston Churchill,Something may have happened for it to start a new back up, have you considered deleting the existing back up and starting again.
FWIW, there have been numerous reports of issues with back ups after iOS 9 was introduced.

Nov 8, 2015 4:26 AM in response to Winston Churchillby eunicekhong,Thanks Sir Winston
Tried it but it said Cannot Delete Backup.
Btw, the current backup size for my device is 3Gb but the Next Backup Size is stated to be 0 bytes.
Tried the delete from my iPad and it successfully deleted the iPhone backup in iCloud.
Went back into my iPhone and backup deleted but the Next Backup Size is still 0 bytes. There is a Latest Backup indicated with a date in September, previous to my last actual backup in October. (Backup Size also 0 bytes) Tried to manually backup again but it failed again like the last time.

Nov 8, 2015 4:38 AM in response to eunicekhongby Winston Churchill,Rather than simply trying to delete it, try turning back up off, this should remove the back up too.

Nov 8, 2015 4:42 AM in response to Winston Churchillby eunicekhong,Well the backup is now deleted isn't it? Sorry for being confused.
When deleting it turned off the backup, doesn't it? And now I have a new back up turned on and is backing up 'for the first time'.
Let me know because it is rather tedious turning on a back up for the first time as I have to turn off all the apps one by one.

Nov 8, 2015 5:11 AM in response to eunicekhongby Winston Churchill,If you are saying it's now working, then you should be OK from now on, you shouldn't have to erase your back up overtime to make a new one.

Nov 8, 2015 6:20 AM in response to eunicekhongby Winston Churchill,I had a similar problem after my iOS update. My back up wouldn’t complete, it showed up as 0 Kb, the next back up showed up as 0Kb and I didn’t get an option to delete my existing back up.
I turned back up off and whilst I didn’t then get an option to delete my previous back up, the previous back up (0 Kb) did disappear of it’s own accord. I was then able to turn back up back on, the 0 Kb back up did not reappear and I was able to start and complete a new back up.
Some have reported that after they turn back off, the previous back up (0 Kb) does not disappear or that if it does it reappears when back up is turned back on (although they are then able to make a new back up providing they have space).
It seems that in some case the 0Kb back up is corrupted data and does indeed take up space in the cloud and it doesn’t appear that this can be removed by the user, if this is what has happened in your case, contact Apple Support, (change country if necessary) they have been able to remove the corrupted data for some users.
