Q: Folders I moved to iCloud Drive from my Mac now appear in iCloud Drive on my iPad but do not appear on iCloud Drive in Finder on my Mac
I had to erase my internal hard drive on my Mac and do a clean install Mac OS X El Capitan v10.11.1 because of a multitude of problems. Before I did this, in order to create space on an external hard drive so that I could copy all of my files there before the erase, I had to move several folders of documents from my external hard drive to iCloud Drive, then delete them from my external hard drive.
After reinstalling Mac OS X El Capitan v10.11.1, these folders appear on my iPad Air 2 and in iCloud Drive using Safari web browser, but they do not appear in iCloud Drive in Finder on my Mac. How can I make them appear in Finder on my Mac? I have turned on iCloud Drive in System Preferences and these folders still do not appear. The folders for Pages, Keynote, Numbers and Preview do appear, but not the folders that I moved to iCloud Drive from my external hard drive.
iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), 3.4 GHz Intel Quad-Core i7 mid-2011

Update:
Following an Apple Support Chat on another subject, where I mentioned that I was having problems with these folders appearing in iCloud Drive on my Mac, they suddenly started appearing - two days after the last clean reinstall of Mac OS X El Capitan v10.11.1 on my Mac. No clue why it took so long for them to appear, or why they suddenly started appearing after that Chat. Just glad that they did.
