Q: Bootcamp problem: Yosemite 10.10.5, Windows 8.1

Trying to install Windows 8.1 on iMac (27-inch, Late 2013) running OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.5

Created Windows 8.1 iso image, sitting on Mac desktop

32GB clean formatted (Mac OS Extended (Journaled)) USB 3.0 plugged in

Run Bootcamp Assistant to set up

Get to the screen to Create Bootable USB Drive for Windows Installation and select Continue

Get the response: "Your bootable USB drive could not be created - There is not enough space available in the disk"

As I said, this is a freshly formatted USB drive with 32GB free...

Can anyone help? Thanks!

Thanks for all the help guys. I have given up at first because nothing worked. And then I thought maybe the actual image was corrupt and downloaded from scratch. And it worked with the new image! Had to do some more head banging to install Windows 10 but I finally got it working.

The Windows ISO download does not readily provide a MD5sum/SHA1, so there is not way to verify images. Glad to see it working. Please backup OS X and Windows and create a Windows System Restore Point.
