Q: Parallels:  How to uninstall after upgrading to El Capitan

Hi,

I just upgraded my iMac from OS X 10.6.8 to El Capitan.  I have a message window telling me that Parallels will not run under 10.11.1.

My recollection is that Parallels was delivered with 10.6.8.  I used it for a short time and then switched to VMware Fusion.

I do not have an installation disk.

I do not have a "dmg" file.

I don't see Parallels in the Applications folder.

How can I remove it from my Mac?

Thanks for your help.

    Hello andynicNL,

The resource below explains what happens to applications that are incompatible with El Capitan.  If you do not find the Incompatible Software folder on your Mac, you may need to contact the software manufacturer.  Here is a link - http://kb.parallels.com/en/122884

Open a Finder window and in the search, type in "Parallels".
