Q: MS Exchange account not working after iOS 9 update

This morning's iOS 9 update blew up my MS Exchange email accounts on my iPhone 6 Plus (not Office 365). Has anyone experienced this? We have Exchange 2007 on SBS 2008. Email accounts worked prior to update. Error: "EXCHANGE ACCOUNT  Unable to verify account information. OK"

I have tried the following:

  1. Reset network settings
  2. Deleted and recreated the account
  3. Deleted and recreated the account with wifi turned off
  4. Created the account with SSL turned off
  5. Rebooted phone
  6. Setup the account without optional domain name

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9, null

Was having same problem with brand new iPhone 6 with iOS 9.1

Solution: Setup my Gmail account in Google first. Then setup my Exchange e-mail as a second account. Everything works now!

Got a new iPhone 6.  All my settings successfully restored from backup, except the Exchange accounts. Gmail and icloud accounts reconnected seamlessly, reestablishing emails, calendars, etc. But for adding my Exchange accounts, I tried multiple times to sign in, and the phone got hung up for hours trying to 'verify' (the settings page froze and the 'wait' icon kept spinning).  As suggested by another respondent here, I tried powering off the phone.  After turning the phone back on, I re-attempted to add or sign into the Exchange accounts.  It worked!

    Good luck.

    Hi

I have an issue with iPhone 5s on iOS 9.2.

When I setup my Exchange account I only get certain emails downloaded. I have tried setting the Mail Days to Sync to "No Limit" but it makes no difference.

It works on my BlackBerry without issue.

    Cheers

    Julian
