Q: Impossible to empty trash

I installed El Capitan and then ran Monolingual to remove language files.

Now I find 10 folders named eg "German 15-16-4.lproj" in the trash.

These folders cannot be deleted nor changed because I have no permission it states.

I have tried everything possible, including Terminal commands, a safe Boot, a Rescue Boot, Trashit, everything but nothing works.

It is also impossible to remove these folders from the trash by dragging to the desktop, it just copies the folder but it stays in the trash.

Any help would be wonderful. Thanks.

I have this problem too, and I have tried every app and Terminal command I could find to solve it. I even tried changing the permissions, but that failed too, because it said that I don't have permission to change permissions! Like ikerf, any help would be wonderful to me too. Thank you!

I tried TrashIt, but it failed, and so did SecureDelete, Super Empty Trash, you name it I used it.

I'd guess that the new feature SIP may have something to do with it:

Apple doesn't want you to mess with system files any longer.
