Q: I have an Apple 5c. It was charged overnight and it is switched on but this morning I cannot access the homescreen as it remains black although I can receive calls and hear sounds when texts and messages are coming through

I have an Apple 5c mobile phone. It is fully charged and switched on however the screen remains dark and I therefore cannot access the home screen or any apps. I can receive calls although cannot tell who is calling and can hear selected sounds when texts/messages are coming through

After reviewing your post, It sounds like the screen on the iPhone is not turning on. I would recommend you read this article, it may be able to help troubleshoot the issue.

Thanks for your response Mario49. Unfortunately nothing worked and I took the phone to a local Apple Authorised Service Provider who couldn't get it to work either so it has now been sent back to Apple and I am waiting for a diagnosis
